Rainware FAQ
Question: Do you have a color to match my existing windows?
Answer: Yes, many of our colors are matched to major window manufacturers of wood and vinyl windows. Ask your dealer for a color selector guide to check for availability of a color to match your windows.
Question: Do you have siding that will match my gutters and downspouts?
Answer: Yes, we have steel roofing, steel siding, vinyl siding, soffit and fascia in colors to match or compliment your gutters. Ask you dealer for a color selector guide to see the colors and availability of these products. We also carry a complete line of shutters, louvers, vents and other decorative accent items.
Question: Can I change the color of my gutters if I want?
Answer: Yes, the baked on coating that we use on our gutters provides an excellent base on which to put a quality latex paint. This would allow you to refinish your gutters and downspouts to a different color of your choice.
Question: How long will my gutters and downspouts last?
Answer: When properly cared for they should last for a lifetime. The coatings that we use for our gutters and downspouts are formulated to last in the extreme heat of the southern states and the sub-zero temperatures of the northern states. Make sure that you do not lean ladders up against them, as this will damage them. General cleaning will also help.
Question: Do I need to clean my gutters?
Answer: Yes, it is recommended that you clean your gutters periodically to keep them clear of debris. This could extend the life of your gutters. We have gutter screen material available that could eliminate the need to climb a ladder and clean out the gutters.
Question: What kind of warranty do you have on your rainware?
Answer: Our gutters and downspouts are covered by a 50 year Limited Warranty that is transferable to the next homeowner. This warranty is one of the best in the industry.
Question: What if I have a problem with my gutters and downspouts?
Answer: If you feel that you have a problem please contact our Customer Service department by mail, phone or electronically. The Customer Service department will then determine what caused the problem and then come up with a solution to the problem.
