The Line

The Edcoat line is an impressive, 718-foot long, state-of the-art tandem coil coater with the capability to run polyesters, PVC, and fluoropolymer coatings at speeds from 300 FPM to 700 FPM.

Edcoat has upgraded and rebuilt a Ross Waldron line to state-of-the-art condition. It now features new digital electrical and line control systems. Dual coaters for primer and finish coating are moveable so that colors can be changed on the fly. Both the primer and finish coat ovens are 221 feet long and are of a flotation strip design.

The line is equipped with a wastewater purification system and its ovens are vented to a Ross incineration system to ensure EPA compliance. Full-scale lab support, outfitted with modern technical equipment, is available to insure quality control.
